THE SHADOW

Hurrah! On Sunday I'm going on a seminar in London by Liz Greene on The Shadow: Darkness and Light in the Horoscope. It's a public seminar, and there's still time to book, go to www.cpalondon.com. I've been going to her seminars for some years now - though I'm not a formal student, it doesn't seem to be the way I'm built - and it's where I've got a lot of my understanding of astrology from. So I'm a fan.

On the subject of the Shadow, the civilised, liberal shadow is easy to see in its hatred of George W Bush (just as in the UK it was easy to see when Margaret Thatcher was in power). The educated intelligentsia have a capacity for demonisation that is just as great as the redneck's demonisation of anyone 'different'. And George Bush is a very suitable hook, so it's hard to untangle. But don't we just love to despise him?

I'm so jealous! I would love to take a class from Liz. I have to be satisfied with buying the books from CPA. :(

Yah! Liz Greene is one of my all time favorite astrologers and when I read this post it was a stab of pure, undiluted envy. We'll allow you a certain amount of gloating . . . but I second Melody's wish for you to share. :-)

BTW, I think you are right about the Shadow & Bush. Nasty stuff . . .
