PARIS HILTON, DRAMA QUEEN

Personally I don’t believe Paris Hilton’s courtroom scenes, as she was carted back to jail screaming for her Mom. She probably believes them, but then she’s got Moon in Leo, and part of being an effective drama queen (as Leos often are) is that you have to believe it yourself. My own response to the idea of 23 days in a cell on my own is one of longing, but then like Paris I have a Saturn opposition to my Aquarian Sun going on at present. Paris’ Sun is at 28 Aquarius, and Saturn will be exactly opposite (for the only time) in August. For her, Saturn’s lessons are exactly what are needed – the need to live within the rules of society, the need to take time to reflect on her life.

This is a perfect Saturn-Neptune event that seems to have real significance, for many people are enraged at the idea of justice being more lenient for celebrities; while others take pity on this talent-free bimbo and think it’s the nasty chauvinist judge who is at fault. Saturn vs Neptune. You can tell which side I’m on! What a revealing issue, and what an indictment that it should be the top news story in the USA.

It's just a huge distraction being fed to the media...standard m.o. over here to keep us from looking at deeper issues.

Although I finally broke down and wrote a comment on velvet blade's Astrology Talk in reaction to Kitty Taurus's blog on Paris.

Mind you, I don't think this sort of stuff needs feeding to the media, there's such a hunger for it, it'll be out there anyway.

I think the next few months will be very telling as to whether she's got much depth to her or not. Some people learn from these experiences, some don't.

That's true, but I would give her more than a few months...at least give her until after her Neptune / Sun transit is completely over :)

OK, that's a deal. But whether she takes any notice of our timetable is another matter...

Jumping back in :) I agree. It's just that here in the US anyway, the media is focusing on these types of things instead of other relevant news...so hunger or no, media decisions are being made that exclude coverage on more important issues, and because this stuff is so juicy, no one seems to care. For example, there hasn't been anything on the news about XDR-TB in Africa or the FBI seige on Ed Brown....
