A few days ago I dreamed I looked in the mirror and saw a beautiful young man. His name was Language. Days later, that dream is still strongly with me.
Last night I dreamed that the North Node was the point of genius in the chart.
Mercury is also exactly trine to stationing Chiron, and to the North Node. Chiron educated the young heroes like Achilles. So it is a time to dream and to attempt what you may have previously felt to be impossible.

So, if the question is not too intrusive, why would you choose to live somewhere where Woolworths is the point of balance?
I have a long-time client from Glastonbury. I think she prefers me to the many available to her where she lives for the same reason: that I come from 'normal-land'.
Perhaps this also explains your resistance to the idea of 'ascension'. For me the idea isn't to leave the corporeal world behind but to merge into it with a quicker resonance or frequency - so that a brighter light can shine more generally into our old worn-out insitutions. And the planet.
In Glastonbury you have this 'ascension' vibration all around you. You only need to direct it in a way that you find most positive and good. This you seem to be doing. So it is either the idea or the language of 'ascension' that you resist, generated, perhaps, by the context in which you live.
I think it is the language of Ascension I don't like, because culturally we still have the baggage of Christianity, whether or not we are conscious of that, and its idea of ascending into heaven if you are good enough, and away from corrupt corporeal existence. I prefer the metaphor of uncovering one's true nature, of being true to that which you always were, outside of time, underneath the obscurements.
As for living in Glastonbury, I think it chooses you! And lets you go once you've been through whatever changes it wants you to go through. After 10 years here, I'm thinking it's going to let me go soon! And then I'll have more perspective on the place.
Glastonbury is very mixed. In some ways there is a wonderful energy, and in other ways it is like wading through thick psychic soup, and different areas of town have their own flavour.
In some ways, it is helpful to live here, the rate of personal change doubles overnight! It is also an underworld, and you regularly see people's worlds being demolished when they arrive here. That certainly happened to me.
But you are also having to work AGAINST a lot of the energy here, some of it is quite dark, some just old and turgid and medieval.
So it can be a relief to leave, and also nice to return.
I think Glastonbury also drives some people crazy, you see them going downhill.
I think it is easy to get stuck here. And also I don't think we are built to be permanently in this sort of energy, even just the light side of it. It's like when you shift consciousness to do an astrology reading: you have to come back afterwards into 'normal' life. You would get out of balance trying to be like that all the time.
So this is why I think Glastonbury is often best seen as a temporary home to go through certain changes, even though that may take years. And also why it drives certain people crazy.
It's like a town has been built on a sacred site, and that is not appropriate. You visit sacred sites, you don't try and live on them!
Yes, the term ‘ascension’ does have that about it. I tend to read the energy that the word carries as language is so clumsy. Your dream about the young man called ’Language’ was interesting in this light.
Your feelings and observations on Glastonbury are fascinating. I hadn’t thought of a place having a will of its own – but why not? I couldn’t live there but I like to visit from time to time. Less so these days. I think I used it up in the 80’s and 90’s. (I ‘used up’ Avebury as well.) There seems to be a predominant Uranus vibe – I wonder when the town was ‘born’? A bit like alcohol, Glastonbury energy will amplify and accelerate a prevailing disposition rather than impose some alien trait, don’t you think? Which might explain the variety of strong energies.
