Michael Jackson

I've spent the afternoon trying to work out how to do an audio blog. I half succeeded: if you follow the link below, you'll hearing me talking for 20 minutes, but you'll be on a different webpage and won't have the chart in front of you. But I think you can click back and keep the sound!

So here is the link!

Wish you would post the text, too ---I don't have 20 minutes but I can skim an article much faster.

Just listened. Absolutely fantastic!! That was great, please do more!

(By the way: don't you think that his venus and Uranus were probably up the top of the chart? What with him - as you pointed out - being publicly known as the 'king of pop', and 'wacko Jacko'?)

Sorry I commented without looking at the chart you had posted; I'd only listened to the audio.

That chart does make sense to me, with his moon in the 4th house. A need for a private, family life. But pretty much opposed by all those other planets up top, it wasn't something easily attainable.

Oh, also: he was born under a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, and he checked out under another one.

Bravo - very rewarding listen, altho I had to close my eyes to avoid distraction by the moving colors. Soothing voice, lovely accent for us Americanas.

You hardly missed a beat even without the coordinates: very satisfying astrology as you gently unraveled the symbols.

Who really rules us Virgos? bb

Chiron co-rules Virgo? That would fit with Michael Jackson.

Good point about him being born under a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, and checking out under one. This isn't formally a transit, but I think 2 planets together in a birth chart have a primordial power, regardless of sign etc, that the later mathematicized astrology doesn't have. And a repeat of that conjunction therefore is a big deal, regardless. And he went in a Jupiter-Neptune way, slipping away under pharmaceuticals (Aquarian drugs).

I've got the same conjunction, but I think I'll be around for a while yet! Time for a big (Jupiter) dream (Neptune)!

Your last paragraph fits since I share a Jup/Nep/Sun conjunction in Virgo in the 8th house no less!

I am being treated to a big dream as we speak: seven center fold pages of photos(neptunian) and text in a national cheese magazine.

An ego massage for someone who just milks goats and makes cheese.Think I will hang around a while longer.

I suppose I'll have to come to terms with Chiron though with a big down-to-earth thump.

I listened to it with my morning coffee - however I was not fast enough to make notes before you h ad moved on to something else - could we have the text as well or would that involve too much hassle
Anyway most enjoyable

I enjoyed hearing your voice. And the good talk.
You have a nice way of getting the important aspects clear.
Thank you!
Nicola

Any thoughts on the astrological significance of the 12 Jacko fans from all over the world that have committed suicide over the past few days? It does seem rather unprecedented. Could it also point to the Jupiter Neptune conjunction causing a loss of all hope?

Hi—Great hearing your voice… Brits sound so erudite, no matter the content!

On Noel Tyl’s forum, there was a musician—HarryT-- who worked with MJ and wrote that he’d asked MJ for his precise birth time. You can read about it here… http://noeltyl.com/discussion/index.php?topic=963.0

He says 11:53 pm, which is also the time that Basil Fearington writes about. Synchronistically, you mentioned that Chiron would be on an angle if you had the correct time, and with this time, Chiron is smack dab on the MC.

Greatly appreciate your definition of the Chiron Return: “when you come to terms with the wounding within you and claim it.” Thanks for your blog…it’s on my Favorites List.

Someone else pointed out that:

Pisces = feet. Moon in Pisces= Moonwalk!

Really insightful DR. Too much to take in first time around, so repeat listenings will have to happen. I think something we can print out would be special as well. I am familiar with MJ's music as I have 3 kids now aged mid 40s! Toe tapping stuff. Re his demise. I guess you couldnt comment on the when, as there isnt a birth time. Couldnt ask his Mum, as she is a Jehovahs Witness! Doesnt American birth certs have the time on them? Perhaps one of your Stateside readers could do a little research! I noted that he had received an injection of ?? Demerol at 11.30 am. After which, he started to collapse. Using the noon chart, saturn is in the 1st house. Move it along half an hour, saturn is rising. 10 mins later, when he had collapsed, Saturn crossed into the 12th house. Reading all that has been written re the lead up to the official announcement, as a retired nurse, knowing the side effects of Demerol/Pethedine, It is likely that he had passed away before any attempts were made to revive him. Its all so very sad, but inevitable in a Neptunian sort of way.

Loved your audio interp. I just hit the back button and got the voice and visual as well. I almost want to put his Mars in the 12th...masculinity in the closet so to speak. His wife/whatever, Debbie is somewhat Saturnine and definately absent.
His "Neverland, childishness" would possibly supprt a Gemini/Peter Pan rise...of course all speculation. BUT this would put Neptune in the 5th..and the kids are a mystery for sure. If his Sun is in the third..it explains the writer abilities and the spritely..communicator/dancer... just guessing..Arizona Sue

I enjoyed the little I did hear of your recording... however I do have to disagree with your comments about him having issues with his race or being black. Its now known that Michael suffered with vitiligo and there plenty of photos documenting his skin's change from black to white.(http://floacist.wordpress.com/2007/06/10/vitiligo-photos-michael-jackson/) I would think that transformation and the media's skewing of it also added to his isolation and lack of self esteem. I personally think it would've been nice if he became a spokesperson for the disease, serving, revealing the truth and healing himself all at the same time. The plastic surgery is a whole other story. I'm sad that it became the obsession that it did.
