You have to wait for the cardinal signs for that, in this case Capricorn, the sign under which Santa Claus comes down chimneys. Capricorn sets the boundaries – the chimney walls – through which Santa must squeeze. With Pluto now in Capricorn, it may be the death of him, or at the least he may have to be dismembered to get down.Sunday, December 13, 2009
The Run-Up to Christmas
Have you noticed that there is no point trying to arrange anything between now and Christmas that hasn’t already been arranged? It just won’t happen. There is a good astrological reason for this: the Sun is in the final degrees of a mutable sign, Sagittarius. A sign of excess and office parties, yes. But being mutable, and at the end of the sign, it is particularly good for just going with the flow and letting things end, not beginning them.
You have to wait for the cardinal signs for that, in this case Capricorn, the sign under which Santa Claus comes down chimneys. Capricorn sets the boundaries – the chimney walls – through which Santa must squeeze. With Pluto now in Capricorn, it may be the death of him, or at the least he may have to be dismembered to get down.

Hi Dharmaruci
A friend of mine drew my chart and saw a YOD coming up for me, at the strongest in next February. I am worried about it now because I have had a look on the internet and it looks like something not positive at all. My friend has now gone away for the holidays so I cannot contact her anymrore. can you say something to me about YODs??? many thanks xx Anna

I apologise if my comment had nothing to do with what you just wrote, I could not find another way to contact you x
Dear Anna,
I've had the same problem finding information about yods. Same with Mystic Rectangles. People claim these are exciting things, but it's unclear what significance they have. Here's what I know:
A yod is a pointer. You are being pointed toward the fingertip of the formation.
My friend John has a serious yod in his birth chart, two conjunct planets in one position, two conjunct planets in another position, and Jupiter in Scorpio in the 12th house, at the fingertip. Last year, he got involved with a woman whose Sun was exactly conjunct that fingertip Jupiter. Sounds great, right? Well, here's what happened. He had an insane two months of the craziest, most wonderful sex he'd ever had, while connecting with this woman on the most deep spiritual level he'd ever connected with anyone, but, at her insistence, it all had to be kept secret from everyone except me. He got incredibly confused, descending into a place that seemed almost mentally ill, feeling compelled to tell me the story of meeting her over and over again. He was inaccessible as a friend at the time. Fortunately for him, the woman abruptly decided to end the relationship.
So, here's what I saw: He was compelled to do that which the yod pointed at. He was not in control of the path it took, and he did not choose when it ended. He was overtaken. He had a most exhilarating experience, one which I'm sure he would never trade away, but one which was a relief to have ended.
I don't know whether John's story is universal for yods, but if such a thing happens to you, you might at least recognize it from my description.
ha ha ha
my capricorn moon loves this kind of humour!
Love the post. Snickering.
I have a couple of Yods (Finger of God) in my chart, and the way it was explained to me is that at some point in your life, the path that you were on will come to an end, and you will have to make a choice to go in an entirely new direction. Kind of a 'Date with Destiny' type of influence. Hope this helps...
