Deathbed Regrets

I found this link on Facebook. Below is a summary:

Nurse reveals the top 5 regrets people make on their deathbed

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

2. I wish I didn't work so hard.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

I wish I hadn't crapped in the bed...

I remember another nice little one-liner that I try to keep in mind: "No man on his death bed wishes he had spent more time at the office."

Deathbed regrets is a really great topic to think about, because given the awareness of other people's regrets, we can choose to live life to the full. I've extended on that idea and written a sensitive response here: http://greenminimalism.com/2013/07/13/top-5-deathbed-regrets-and-why-they-dont-bother-me/
